Please complete the following application if you wish to add your camp to our preapproved list of camps. We reserve the right to approve or deny any application based on answers below or additional information we obtain during our due diligence process. First and foremost, any camp requesting to be preapproved for scholarships must agree with the following basic beliefs:

Camp Sycamore's Core Doctrinal Beliefs

  • We believe God exists (Hebrews 11:6).
  • We believe the Bible is the complete and inspired word of God (II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:20-21)
  • We believe Christ is the only way by which God saves man (John 14:6). We are saved by God’s grace conditioned upon our saving faith (trust) in Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9).
    • Saving faith is not merely a mental understanding of God’s existence (James 2:19).
    • Saving faith comes through learning (Romans 10:17) where we realize we are a lost sinner without hope (Romans 3:10, 23; Ephesians 2:12).
    • We believe the gospel (I Corinthians 15:1-4; John 8:24; Hebrews 11:1, 6).
    • We repent of our sins (Luke 13:3; Acts 17:30).
    • We confess Jesus as Lord (Matthew 10:32-33; Romans 10:9-10).
    • We are baptized into Christ for the forgiveness of our sins (Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38).
  • We believe that once we are in Christ (Romans 8:1), grace covers us as long as our heart is right (i.e. we do our best to obey the truth and grow in Christ as best we know how - I John 1:7; Matthew 7:13).
* I have read and agree with the Core Doctrinal Beliefs listed above
